New survey of rural voters in PA

Rachel Bitecofer made a name for herself in 2018 when she predicted the outcome of the US House elections. She is back with a new survey, asking rural voters about voting preferences and their dependence on the US Post Office. Have a read!

This morning, I released a poll—in collaboration with John Couvillon and JMC Analytics and Polling—that reveals the following about rural voters in the battleground state of Pennsylvania:

  • how concerned they are regarding recent changes made to the U.S. Postal Service;

  • how dependent they are on USPS services

  • how USPS defunding/privatization would impact their vote choice;

  • whether they intend to vote by mail;

  • how they view President Trump's handling of the pandemic;

  • how they view state elected official's handling of the pandemic;

  • how they believe schools should reopen;

  • and how polarization and hyperpartisanship impacts voters' assessments of these issues.

    If you've been patiently waiting for the survey, you can now view it here
